Dr. Farah's Approach

Dr. Farah's years of experience and desire to help his patients live healthier lives have guided him to a highly individualized approach to sleep medicine.

There is no one-size-fits-all answer to sleep disorders. Obstructive sleep apnea, snoring, and fragmented sleep are often symptoms of other medical problems.

Dr. Farah is dedicated to getting to the root of your sleep issues so he can help you treat the cause rather than the symptom – a process which is far more likely to help you see long-lasting results and healthy sleep.

Sleep, or lack thereof, plays one of the most significant roles in your overall health.

The Texas Sleep Doctor can help you get the sleep you've been dreaming of.

CDLs and Sleep Apnea

As a leading expert in sleep apnea, Dr. Farah works with various states' respective Departments of Transportation to evaluate truck drivers and other transportation professionals.

According to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), nearly one-third of commercial truck drivers have mild to severe sleep apnea. If left untreated, sleep apnea can cause fatigue and inattentiveness that could result in hazardous driving – or worse.

Dr. Farah is well-versed in evaluating drivers for CDLs and managing CPAP compliance for DOT physicals.

Beyond the Stethescope

When not at work helping his patients achieve their sleep goals, Dr. Farah enjoys spending time with his family and friends and exploring the cultural and culinary scenes in Dallas.

He can often be spotted toting friends around town on his impossible-to-miss tandem bicycle.

He is an avid traveler and is quickly closing in on visiting every country in the world. Tokyo is his favorite destination, Mt. Everest basecamp was his greatest adventure, and the entirety of his family's Thanksgiving menu is his favorite meal.

A certified diver, he has explored the Great Barrier Reef and considers the pristine waters of Maui a second home.

He also dabbles in photography, and you'll find many prints from his globetrotting lining the walls of his office.
